UNIVERSAL MOUNT 1

This mount is designed for the Insta360 X3. All buttons and the screen remain fully accessible while the camera is mounted.

The camera can be tilted forward and backward, allowing you to adjust it to your preferred angle and needs.

The mount includes all necessary hardware for installation:

  • Screw mounting
  • Original 3M VHB double-sided adhesive tape

The low-profile base can be attached using 3M adhesive or 2 x 4 mm screws directly to the helmet shell. The camera housing is secured to the included LPS base.

If you are switching from a GoPro camera (previously mounted using an LPS mount) to the INSTA, you can reuse the same LPS base. Simply swap the camera housings.

As standard, the INSTA mount comes in black.

The mount is lightweight and snag-free. The INSTA camera can be removed in seconds to access the battery or SD card and is secured with a standard 1/4″ camera screw inside the mount.

Installation is quick and easy and does not interfere with the function of your helmet visor.

When jumping without a camera or flying in a wind tunnel, the camera housing can be easily removed from the LPS base by loosening two screws. If the mount is screwed in place, the entire system can also be quickly removed from the helmet.

We do not guarantee the performance of the 3M adhesive tape. Lost cameras or mounts will not be replaced.

UNIVERSAL MOUNT 0

The Universal Mount 0 can be understood as an earlier or more basic variant of the Universal Mount 1, within the same family of mounting systems.

In general terms, this means that:

  • The Universal Mount 0 typically represents the initial version of the design, with a simpler structure or fewer compatibility options.
  • The Universal Mount 1 is an evolution of that idea, incorporating improvements such as greater stability, more adjustment options, or expanded compatibility with different devices.
  • Both share the same core concept of a “universal mount,” but version 1 usually fixes limitations or adds features compared to version 0.

In short, the Universal Mount 0 is the base or starting point of the system, while the Universal Mount 1 is a refined version that improves upon the original design.
